Meeting Locations:

All meetings, unless otherwise explicitly advertised, will occur at the Riverside Family Recreation Center in Riverside Regional Park (2420 E Riverside Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46208).

The Family Center is located about 100 yards northwest of the intersection of Burdsall Parkway and East Riverside Drive, just north of the Taggart Memorial.

Ample free parking is available, however, we also encourage local residents to walk or bike if able and weather permitting.

09.10.2020 - Public Open House

WHAT: The Project Team will be facilitating a Riverside Promenade Open House for the general public to attend and participate in the project process by providing feedback that will ultimately help inform the design and program of the Promenade.

WHEN: Thursday, September 10th, 2020. Please arrive anytime between 12:00 -6:30 p.m. and allow approximately 20 minutes to complete the exercises.

WHERE: Riverside Family Recreation Center in Riverside Park

WHY: Obtain feedback from the community regarding the program, design, and implementation of the Riverside Promenade.

10.24.19 - Promenade Corridor Walking Tour

WHAT: Walking Tour of the Riverside Promenade Project Corridor

WHEN: Thursday, October 24th from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm

WHERE: Meet at the Riverside Family Center in Riverside Park

We invite you (yes, you…and you, and you) to join the Project Team and the Riverside Promenade Steering Committee on a walking tour of the Riverside Promenade corridor to see first-hand some of the opportunities and constraints associated with the existing conditions of the corridor. This event will take place on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24th, and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. We ask that all participants meet at the Riverside Family Center at 3:45 pm. The walking tour will last approximately 1 hour, though participants are free to depart as they desire. Safety vests will be provided. This is a rain-or-shine event, so please dress accordingly. We look forward to seeing you and your neighbors there!
